Just got back from WIFW A/W 2013 and as always there were brilliant shows, good shows, bad shows, friends and some drunken fun. Although I must admit I didn’t party every night as I used to (I guess this is what turning thirty means) but the two nights I did, I made ‘em count.

The moment I saw these emerald earrings, I fell head over heels in love with them. There’s something about gold and emerald that I just can’t resist. I wore these with a cream Zara lace dress for a brunch with my sesky little friend Anu and her friend Zaru who joined us briefly.

We brunched at Dome at The Intercontinental, Marine Drive. The view was spectacular but the food and service weren’t that great. We decided to order champagne as the Sangria from the brunch menu was flat and watery. Also, the billing wasn’t very transparent. Anyway with some help from the view, many glasses of bubbly and good music, it turned into a super evening.

Ever since I posted this album on my Facebook page, I was itching to go collar shopping. I finally managed to go last week when my adorable photographer friend Faiza Sheikh visited from Bangalore. To be honest, I was supposed to take her shopping but with me that always turns out to be the other way around. That’s why I have not attempted to become a Personal Shopper… something a lot of smart bloggers make a lot of money doing. Sigh!
